If I’ve given a thousand promises, but kept only one; yet been by your side to ease your heart if it hurt from the nine ninety nine, is my love still strong?

Does it matter who takes the first step to calling truce after a small, perhaps even silly fight? If the love matters to you, and it is not something that you can let go of easily, taking that first step only shows that you cared enough to get back to it.

Love to me is when two people really CARE for each other.

Think of the other person too.. they are human and have emotions like you. Expecting them to care for you, and not expecting them to have that same expectation.. it doesn’t work out.
